Great sweater
Okay so im a 5Ć¢ĀĀ11 200lbs male and i typically buy my shirts and hoodies large this hoodie fits me perfectly fine as any other large hoodie i have its right to fitment. The sweater is on the thin side but i planned on using a jacket over this heated sweater to really adequately use the heated sweater and have the outer layered jacket as barrier from the cold wind. works perfectly as i thought kept me warm all day with the combo. (Long sleeve shirt, heated sweater, and coat/jacket over the sweater) i like that they use ONLY 20V batteries which is perfect since thats what youĆ¢ĀĀll see at job sites 99% of the time. The heated mechanism works well it gets quite hot i occasionally have to turn it off and get cooled off again before turning it on. There is two battery locations one in the lower left back which can be annoying if you drive a forklift or any machinery all day luckily they have a front low left pocket where you can have the battery as well. The battery life last me an 8 hours work day. Luckily i work for a contractor that has nothing but 20v dewalt tools that im able to have a battery at all times. You pay for what you get i would suggest this.

For $100 perfect for everything short of subzero
This sweatshirt is the perfect wear for winter outdoor workers that donĆ¢ĀĀt want to be super held down by a bulky winter work coat that you feel like a space man walking around in. The chest and back warmers are the perfect boost of heat to keep warmed up when not working but if you get a looser fit itĆ¢ĀĀs perfect when youĆ¢ĀĀre moving around also because it lifts the heaters off your body and gives you a break from the heat. Adjustable heat is awesome, and a small 2 amp 20v battery isnĆ¢ĀĀt too bulky and lasts a good 4-5 hours on high constantly.

Not an entirely life changing product, but it does what I would expect reasonably well.
Overall, I believe this jacket could be designed a little bit better, but if your expectations are reasonable it is worth while.Pros-it does keep you fairly warm, especially if you layer this jacket with something on the outside.-the smaller 2 A.H battery packs will last for a good while with conservative use.-the quality is decent and materials are fairly sturdy for a hoodie or light jacket.-the control is easy enough to reach while you have the jacket on.-there are two locations for the battery if you want to carry two, or if you are not in a position to use one or the other.Cons-heavy use will deplete the smaller 2 A.H batteries before a full work day.-the rear battery location is uncomfortable while driving or operating equipment(the front position is more comfortable while offering similar complications while doing other types of work)Other considerations-some people have reported broken buttons/switches, these could be due to the fact that the jacket takes 5-10 seconds of holding the button down for the light to turn on-while larger batteries would extend the run time to the point that it would allow all day use, they are substantially less comfortable and quickly make the jacket more of a hassle than its worth.-switching the battery from one position to the other is not a very convenient process, it is time consuming and a substantial complication if you have clothing on over this.Overall this heated jacket is warm enough to be handy if you spend time working outdoors, but it can be a hindrance in some situations especially in very cold environments where this is not worn on the outside.

Initial Review. 12/25
Nice Looking Hoodie. Battery Pocket is deep and wide. Im 6Ć¢ĀĀ / 180lbs and ordered the Large. It fits snug with only a tshirt or similar long sleeved shirt under. Which is exactly the fit i wanted. I had an initial issue of the heat panels not coming on at first, even with a fully charged battery. The next issue was the heater turning off on its own, about 10 minutes in. When it worked i could really feel the heat on my back, the chest notsomuch. I wore it indoors first to test time/temp. About 3 hours. I began on High(Red) and had to lower to the medium(white) after about 30 minutes. About 10 minutes later i noticed it shut itself off. Started process over with no problems after that. Wore it outside next day to push snow. 25 degrees out. A columbia winter coat with a fleece liner. High Heat(Red). Again, you can really feel the heat on your back, the chest notsomuch. But it stayed powered up for the hour or so i was outdoors..Overall: its a nice hoodie, little disappointed initially due to the unexplained power offs and chest panels lacking heat. Fit is pretty spot on. I typically wear XL shirts & hoodies because i prefer a looser fit. The L was snug, as i expected. Again, im 6Ć¢ĀĀ 180lbsIll give it some time and update this review.

Product stopped working after only using it a handful of times.
I purchased this product four months ago and it no longer works, it will turn on but will not stay on. I do not recommend this item. I paid a lot of money for an item that is now useless. I contacted seller and have not received any type of response. I am very disappointed.

Good jacket for people who work outside
Good jacket I like it but if you donĆ¢ĀĀt like carry a battery the size of a phone might not be for you but at least it has 3 pockets to carry the battery

Bought for my husband to wear under his work jacket. Works amazing.

Hoodie works great but the adapter that comes with it only fits a 20V battery

The dewalt heated sweater is a great product exactly what I was looking for, keeps me cozy and warm all day at work I use it everyday.

The coat is awesome and heats up well. The only thing I donĆ¢ĀĀt like is the battery pack rests on your kidney and is a little bulky. Dewalt should come out with a battery pack that is long and thin and raps around your back side that would make wearing this hoodie unbelievable. Overall besides the battery pack. Coat is A+ and warm. The shipping was amazing and received it before I expected it. Good job

I use a 2amp battery which isnĆ¢ĀĀt too bulky for what I do. Late night drives in snow and rain on an ATV and this sweater keeps me toasty as needed.Any type of outdoor activity where you donĆ¢ĀĀt generate a lot of body heat – this will do the trick. A thin shirt under this hoody gives the heat pads a better contact against the skin.
