Better quality than expected
I bought this in preparation for a trip to Italy, where I’d been prepared to expect pickpockets and other mischief with magnetic cards. I’m not aware of any evil attempts by the bad guys, but I enjoyed this vest immensely because of its fit and its extraordinary number of pockets. I’m working in a wine store, and I need to carry a pocket knife to open boxes, a waiter’s key to open wine, various keys, my wallet, my glasses, my iPhone and various other items. All of this once weighed down every pocket in my pants, and now all of the weight has shifted to my shoulders with this vest. It worked so well I bought two more, and I wear one of them every work day. They’re holding up very well.

Lightweight for summer with great pockets
My husband got this vest for Fatherâs Day and heâs worn it every day since. He always wears a vest for the pockets and now he has one that is cooler for summer. The pockets are great with a cloth to clean his glasses attached in the glasses pocket and a stretchy cord to attach his keys in the keys pocket. We havenât washed it yet but the fabric is nice and I think it will wash well. I think I will buy another for him. It does wrinkle a bit in the back.

Very nice vest
I like the fabric its made of as many competitors use a stretchy synthetic which I don’t like. I just wish the fabric on this vest was a little lighter and breathable for warm weather. I’d also like another color choice such as a light beige/off white. The tablet pocket is useful for maps, paper notebooks etc but not for most tablets which are simply too heavy. I’d give it 5 stars with these improvements.

Good pockets
This is a replacement vest. I have an older Scott vest whose zipper color I prefer. This newer one lacks an inside loop for hanging, but overall the vest is good, I just need to remember which pockets I put which things, but that’s on me not the vest.

Nice style, comfortable, pockets galore for travel stuff.
Like the feel and look, plenty of pockets to hold the usual travel stuff you need and like to keep at hand. The sewn-in map in one pocket is clever but weird.

Good vest, but with some reservations
This is a well-made vest, and fit for its purpose — but I can only recommend it with reservations (so I returned the one I bought).First, the “good news.” The manufacturing quality is high, all the parts appear to be made of good materials, workmanship is excellent, and the vest runs true to size (at least for the large size that I bought). The less-good news comes next. SCOTTeVESTs are already somewhat problematic beasts. They’ve got many pockets, which is good. But if you actually use all those pockets, you wind up with a lumpy look that makes it obvious you’re carrying stuff you’re trying (or at least, wanting) to conceal. This model doubles down on that by featuring contrasting zippers — they make it visually obvious where the external “concealment” pockets are. At least to me, this was even more obvious in person than in the listing’s photographs.Given that the advertised purpose for these vests is to tuck away valuables, I can’t recommend this model unless you’ll wear it under a jacket or coat to provide actual concealment. The SCOTTeVEST Featherweight Vest is considerably more expensive, but much better at concealing valuables (again, so long as you don’t get carried away with pocket filling).

Sizing is accurate when empty
Product looked great and was exactly as expected. However I returned the medium for a large because once I loaded the pockets it was uncomfortable.I got it then immediately took it for a trial run. Iâm 6â 0â and 180 lbs and after reading other reviews it sounded like a medium wild be perfect. I put it on and it fit and looked great then input stuff in the pockets and for in the car. Immediately after sitting down various items started to make their presence known.I got the vest because Iâm going on a long (7.5 hour) flight and Iâm tired of the flight attendants making me put my man bag under the seat where I canât get at the items I need to get at. Plus the vest would secure items better than a bag from pickpockets. However, the vest was uncomfortable after a ten minute drive let alone an hours long flight.Iâll make a review for rhr larger size once I try it out.

Looks good even when loaded up. Seems like it will last. Essentially used it is a âbagâ for all my stuff I wanted on my plane trips. That way I can put it under the seat in front of me and still have leg room. Could do with a hook to hang it up though.

It just arrived and haven’t had a chance to test it in the field as yet. But it’s well made and much lighter to wear than I thought ðð
